I can't believe today that it has been 10 years. 10 years since I was laying in my freshman dorm room when my phone rang and my mother was screaming about a plane. 10 years since so many innocent people lost their lives. 10 years since NYC was so sadly scarred and 10 years since this country has been walking around on their tip toes afraid of what will drop next. 10 years. Really? It can't be. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the families who were affected by 911. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the families who may have lost someone fighting overseas. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the men and women who are or who have risked their lives for our freedom. Please come home safe and sound. And my thoughts and prayers go out to our country. Let's stay strong and remember that it may have been 10 years ago, but we are strong and will continue to rise from the ashes with such grace and dignity that everyone will have to take notice. God bless. 

I had the distinct pleasure of playing tonight at "The Arbor" in Georgetown, TX. They celebrated their one year anniversary. Congrats guys! What a beautiful place. 

Football season has finally arrived and I am playing tonight to kick it off in style. Excited to see all of you tonight at The University of Texas Golf Club for the opening Tailgate party for Texas Football. 

Down the road we go to this little cafe on the side of the road to do a show. Wimberly, TX is the place to be and The Cypress Creek Cafe is the place to be seen. Hope to see you all there at 7PM sharp.

Here we are in Aspen, CO to play a private party at the famous "Little Nell". Truly this is such a beautiful place. Not sure I can force myself to leave. Might have to make it a mini vaca :)

A wise man once told me that you can have wings to take you wherever you want as long as you roots to fly back to every once in a while. So I haven't had roots in about two years. So we made the decision and have officially moved back to the great city of Austin, TX. This is where I call home. Good food, great friends, my family close by and a place where my soul is inspired and the roots of my music grow deeper. God bless Texas! 

Im playing a show tonight in dedication of a dear family friend we lost almost a year ago. This one is for you Big Daddy. We love and miss you everyday. 

So we just got finished with our set and what I feared actually happened. Man overboard!! Haha...jk! But we did actually have the backdrop collapse on the stage. Good thing my drummer is one tough dude. He finished playing the rest of the song with the backdrop on his back before he moved it. I don't think it felt too good. But fun gig nonetheless. 

We are about to take the stage here at the University of Texas Golf Club and the wind is about 40mph. Should be interesting!! Hope we aren't taken out by the back drop. Say a little prayer for us! :)

Back down the highway we go to play another private party in the great city of Dallas, TX. This is my hometown, so I hope to see lots of familiar faces. Much love!

We are on our way right now from Dallas/Ft Worth to the great city of Wichita Falls, better known as "Whiskey Flats" to play a private party. Always a good time brewing in the Falls.
